Invest for the hereafter - help us pay off the building!
Abu Qatadah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him." Sunan Ibn Majah 237
This project combines all three components of the above hadith: children, knowledge through Madrasah, ongoing use of the parking lot and the building for Salah, Ramadan, Eid, Programs and other needs of Muslims.
Madrasah Al-Furqan opened in 2016. Many of our teachers are volunteers and we serve Muslim children in the Warren community. Masjid Al-Furqan is unique for it's sense of community and hard work among all community members. Much of our original Masjid construction and current work on the new building is done by handy brothers from the community. However, financial help is needed to support this great cause. Below are details of our current project with pictures telling our story. May Allah SWT take care of your needs and reward you!
Financial Update
Masjid Al-Furqan purchased a building 300 feet away to serve as the new home for Madrasah needs. Additionally it will serve for Qur'an programs for brothers and sisters during the week. There are four classrooms in each of the three sections of the new building with a large basement area in each section. Parking area was also needed for our large Salatul Jumu'ah crowd. Masha Allah, both parking lots are used now.
Due to the budget constrictions, we are working on only 1 of 3 sections (see pictures below) of the building so that our female students can use it as soon as possible. They have an immediate need for more space.
Immediate cost: $5,000 carpet installation/material
Construction and City requirement cost from beginning through the date: $5,000
